Code of Conduct

Our hackathon is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of the following:
  • gender
  • gender identity and expression
  • age
  • sexual orientation
  • disability
  • physical appearance
  • body size
  • race
  • ethnicity
  • nationality
  • religion
  • political views
  • previous hackathon attendance or lack of
  • computing experience or lack of
  • chosen programming language or tech stack
We do not tolerate harassment of hackathon participants, volunteers, or judges in any form.   Hackathon participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the hackathon at the discretion of the hackathon organisers.

 

Project and Submission Requirements

Your project submission consists of the following:

  • Visual display during judging which may consist of paper, laptop, or other visual effects
  • Team representation during judging to answer Judge's questions
  • Submission of electronic documents (eg pictures, web pages, white paper, video, etc) on devpost showcasing your solution

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Your project must have the following components

  • Exhibit Table
    Please have a table to display your work and your solution for judges to look at.
  • Visual Component
    Please have some sort of visual to represent your work. This could be a poster, a prototype, or anything you think best represents your solution.
  • Main Goals & Objectives
    What were your goals as a team? What is your solution trying to achieve?
  • Intended Audience
    Who will be impacted by your solution? What will the impact on these groups be?
  • Challenges & Obstacles
    What challenges or obstacles did your team face while coming up with your solution?
  • Team Overview
    Brief biography information, specific skills, involvement in developing the solution.
