The ultimate goal of this project is to reduce the amount of grass that CMU Grounds has to mow by integrating natural gardens and small ponds in grassy areas with little use.
Convert underutilized grass-covered areas which limit biodiversity and are unused by students. These spaces could Instead be used for community gardens, study spaces, URec classes, or areas for play.
An on campus student marketplace
Our mission is simple: to provide Central Michigan University students with sustainable and convenient ridesharing options.
With our proposal, we will bring plant life to where the students already are and encourage interaction with the plants.
Our team created a CMU-specific website as a central hub for campus optimization, and updates, offering a direct feedback channel to the university.
