About the challenge

April 5-6, 2024 marks the third edition of the Hackathon: Reminagined, an exhilarating 24-hour problem-solving competition put on by the Central Michigan University's Student Government Association, Central Sustainability, and the Computer Science Department. With sustainability as this year's focus, participants will delve into three sustainability-themed challenges, aiming to craft innovative solutions within the constraints of a 24-hour time frame. If these solutions are feasible to implement, they could go on to change campus at Central Michigan University!

You must have your project finished by 10 am on Saturday and ready to present to the judges in Biosciences 1010

Judging Criteria

  • Exhibit Table
    Have a display set up on your assigned table in BIO 1010 with your solution that will capture the attention of the audience.
  • Visual Component
    Please have some sort of visual to represent your work. This could be a poster, a prototype, or anything you think best represents your solution.
  • Main Goals & Objectives
    What were your goals as a team? What is your solution trying to achieve? Make sure this is evident to the audience.
  • Intended Audience
    Who will be impacted by your solution? What will the impact on these groups be?
  • Challenges & Obstacles
    Brief biography information, specific skills, involvement in developing the solution.
